Staff Accountant - Darien – Darien

- Responsible for monthly journal entries to record, as determined by assigned accounts
- Responsible for reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis; resolves any reconciling items on a timely basis
- Networks with cost centers to obtain needed information for monthly close
- Assists in variance analysis of assigned Balance Sheet accounts and related Profit and Loss accounts
- Ensures internal controls are effectively maintained for assigned tasks
- Assists in improving the efficiency of accounting processes and timeliness of deliverables
- Assists on special projects
