Director, Financial Repor – Darien

Reporting :
- All financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (10Qs, 10Ks, S3s, 8ks, etc.)
- Earnings call support packages for CFO and CEO
- Select Board of Director and Audit Committee communications
- Coordinate audit process with the external auditors
- Monthly internal financial reporting package
- Monthly and quarterly Department of Transportation (DOT) Form 41 reports
- Monthly traffic release
- Annual financial statements for the Company's benefit plans
- Liason with LiveTV and other subsidiaries to ensure compliance with accounting policies and review of any accounting issues
- Coordinates special projects and requests to ensure timely completion

Accounting
- Accounting for derivatives, deferred gain/loss
- Quarterly/Annual earnings per share calculation
- Consolidation of all subsidiaries and reconciliation of intercompany activity
- Monthly/Quarterly/YTD Cash Flow statements for parent and subsidiaries
- Accounting manufacturers credits (mostly attributable to Aircraft/Engine manufacturer agreements)
- Research complex technical issues to determine proper accounting and reporting
- Reviews aircraft leases to determine proper classification as either operating or capital
- Ensures proper accounting of all aircraft transactions
- Responsible for determining aircraft purchase commitments
- Oversees fixed assets, including monitoring the fixed asset system, evaluating and coordinating the implementation of major upgrades and implementing a physical inventory process and periodic impairment analysis
- Prepares and analyzes the operating budget for depreciation, amortization and capitalized interest
- Ensures formal accounting policies and procedures exist and are complied with to accomplish objectives; documents and develops new procedures when required
