- Tracks capital spending against approved budgets and capitalizes when assets are placed in service and in accordance with established policies and guidelines
- Assists in the maintenance of the fixed asset system and its reconciliation to the general ledger
- Assists in fixed asset capitalization process by gathering and summarizing necessary support
- Assists in financial statement close by collecting and summarizing capital spending data
- Assists in preparation of financial schedules for year-end audits and supports financial statements in connection with capital projects
